Chocolate-letter

I was missing my grandma, so I decided I'd make her something sweet!!
Purchasing a board of chocolate, I measured the width then cut the base of the letter in cardstock accordingly. Based on the size of the chocolate I started scoring: I wanted the cardstock to wrap around the chocolate once before ending in a normal letter.
Tip: if the chocolate was too wide for the letter to be wrapped nicely enough, I'd simply just add additional patterned paper to "finish" the letter. I was in luck though, this one fit a 12" wide strip perfectly.
Then I cut the patterned paper so it'd cover all the sides of this chocolate-letter.
For the front cover of the "letter" I wanted it to go over the edge some, so I added a little bit of another patterned paper.
Then it's just to start decorating the cover - I used extreme adhesive squares to put together the layers of embellishments.
Here you can find the transparent "clear cuts shapes" layered underneath a snowflake from "the fabric favorites" topped with a "snowflake button dots" with a tulle in between. This embellishment sits on top of the "cardstock sticker borders". Notice the background, where you can find a "decorative edge cardstock" sewn on the cover of the patterned paper.
Before adhering the box together: Sew buttons as the letters' choice of closure on the side (in hindsight: having two buttons would have been better, ahwell)
When done, adhere the chocolate to the letterbox and wrap it, adhering it together.
When done, adhere the chocolate to the letterbox and wrap it, adhering it together.
