From the GlueArts designers and our friends at October Afternoon!
We're so excited to bring you one more week of holiday ideas, projects, layouts...you name it...we've got it! And if you use your time wisely (well one can hope!) this week...you can whip out some of these items too!
We loved what Designer Audrey Pettit shared with us today! It's perfect for those of you tight on time but big on ideas! She used a store bought snowman and plain box and created such an amazing gift box.
Designer Jamie Warren has such a beautiful layout filled with October Afternoon's Holiday Style, GlueArts products and glitter! (you can never go wrong with glitter!!)

I was so happy to get to play with October Afternoon's new Holiday line - it's so gorgeous. I loved the color combos - classic, but different!
I wanted to document one of our Christmas traditions - going out to see the lights at a home local to us. They always go above and beyond decorating - it's truly an amazing sight! The October Afternoon line was perfect for this!
To start I used my Glue Glider Pro to adhere the top patterned paper to the bottom patterned paper layer. I trimmed it so that it fit in the center of the paper and then I scored the sides with my fingernail to give the edges a bit of a pop off of the page.
Once I had my patterned paper in place I placed my photos - two to the left hand bottom and one to the right hand top. Then it's time to start adding the embellishments! I love to layer my embellishments - I cut the poinsetta sticker in half and attached to the right and left sides of my layout. From there I started layering the embellishments, and scattered a few as well. I used the U Cut It Foam Adhesive to give the embellishments a pop. I love how thick the U Cut It Foam is - the dimension is incredible! I cut out the Christmas tree from a sheet of the patterned paper - I love creating embellishments from the patterned paper designs!
I then created my title - and placed over my two photos on the right hand side. I splattered a bit of mist, and after it dried I added my journaling lines and journaling.
My next step was to add a bit of sparkle to the middle of my snowflakes using the Extreme Tac Minis in the center of the snowflake and then sprinkling on the glitter! It holds the glitter really well!
