Fall Fun With We R Memory Keepers & GlueArts!


We're back! Happy Wednesday to you!

There's something about the beautiful colors in the candles, pumpkins and leaves that just make you happy fall has arrived!

This week we think you'll agree that We R Memory Keepers and their Autumn Splendor collection, definitely DO contribute to that feeling!!

Designer Andrea Budjack has created a unique banner. Consider making this in holiday colors and using it as a garland for your tree or stairs...the possibilities are endless!!

Kristen Swain has created a gift set. There's not better time that during the month of November to show someone just how much you appreciate that! Create this set and tuck in some special treats to give!


Fall Banner

Supplies:


Glue Arts Perma Tac
Glue Arts UCut-It Foam
Glue Arts Ribbon Adhesive
We R Memory Keepers - crop-a-dile, paper, stickers
Tim Holtz - clear labels
Giant Dwarf - felt
Fiskars - punch
Spellbinders - die cut
Technique Tuesdays - acorn stamp)
Copic - markers
Embordiery Thread
Ranger - gloss
Buttons
Lace Trim
Twine
Mat Board

1. Die cut one large circle from We R Memory Keepers cardstock and one from mat board. Apply sticker to brown die cut circle and pierce using We R Memory Keepers tool. Use needle and embroidery thread to created stitched look to piece. Apply this piece to mat board using Glue Arts Perma Tac Adhesive, ink edges and stitch using sewing machine along edge.


2. Using We R Memory Keepers Crop-A-Dile, punch holes in either side of piece and add eyelets.

3. Die cut several felt and paper, punching a hole in the center of each.

4. Using embroidery thread and needle, thread pieces to create banner. Alternate between pieces of paper and felt. Add clear labels as you go and secure by threading in buttons. 
5. Punch and die cut labels and circles to place onto clear labels. Stitch and add to labels using Glue Arts UCut-It Foam.
6. Stamp, cut out and mount acorn images onto clear labels. Add glossy accents.
7. Die cut one large circle, apply Glue Arts Ribbon Adhesive and add lace trim. Using Glue Arts UCut-It Foam, mount onto backside of fall piece.

Supplies:
Glue Arts- Perma tac, UCutIt foam, and Extreme Adhesive Squares
We R Memory Keepers Autumn Splendor Collection papers, stickers and chipboard
Raffia
Sweet Tooth Boxes Cartridge
Cricut Machine
Button/twine

Instructions:

1. Cut out house box using Cricut Sweet Tooth Cart (2x) then put together using Perma Tac adhesive. Fill with treats.

2. Punch two holes in top of house box, loop raffia through and tie into bow. Loop another piece of raffia through a chipboard tag, then add UcutIt foam to back of tag, and adhere and tie to raffia bow.
3. Put two glitter brads through chipboard tag and add UCutIt foam to back of tag, adhere in center of window.
4. Cut card base to 4x5 inches, then adhere papers onto card. Add UCutIt foam to back of embossed paper tag, then adhere to card, tie raffia bow and adhere to card.
5. Adhere button and twine to center of bow with Extreme Adhesive Squares, then add UCutIt foam to small tag, adhere to center tag, and then adhere two leaves to look like trees to side of card.

  44. The house boxes would be great to make favors for a party we have in Dec. The banner idea could be used in a classroom, or at this same party. The glue glider is great, I have something similar, but never have enough glue!
