Welcome to Day Two of our Clear Scraps week!
Many of you posted you've hesitated about working with acrylic because truthfully you felt out of your element. And needed ideas for how to work with it.
Well once again the Glue Girls are thinking outside the box!
Designer Linda Albrecht has a beautiful door hanger! Love that she diecut a shape out of the acrylic to fit over a door nob. And note...she made this out of an album!
Designer Lesley Landgon has an equally beautiful layout that uses the Deco XL Clear Shapes for the background of her stunning layout.
Supplies:
Glue Arts Glue Glider Pro with High Tac Adhesive
Glue Arts Hot Glue Gun
Glue Arts Ribbon Adhesive
Clear Scraps Acrylic Shapes, Skirted Tag
BasicGrey "Hello Luscious" patterned papers
Maya Road Pin, Brown Leaf
Lace trims & flower by Prima
Miscellaneous Buttons, brads and artificial greenery and leaves

Instructions:
1. Use a die cutting machine to cut a shape or circle big enough to fit over a door handle.
2. Lay patterned paper behind the clear tag to trace a pattern for cutting.
3. Apply High tac Adhesive to the front side of the paper then apply it to the backside of the clear tag.
4. Cut strips of patterned papers. One for the paper ruffle and 2 for the pinwheel shape that you will layer behind the premade flower the accordion fold at 1/3" intervals. You will need to glue the ends of the 2 cut for the pinwheel together.
5. Use hot glue to adhere the paper pinwheel to the left side of the clear tag, holding it flat and in place until the hot glue starts to cool.
6. Use Ribbon Adhesive to adhere the lace trims to the tag as shown.
7. Use hot glue to apply the paper ruffle then roughen up the edges with sand paper and your finger. Roughen up the edges of the paper pinwheel under the flower also. Apply artificial greens and leaves with the hot glue gun.
8. Use a punch to add holes to the scalloped edge of the clear tag.
