Fresh "Vinyl" Cut Flowers

Alright admit it...

How many of you love to have fresh cut flowers in your home?(my hand is absolutely raised!!)

Today's Accent It All craft by our new Designer Jenny Chesnick, will offer you the perfect excuse to go buy a beautiful assortment of flowers or even better as Jenny did...as your special sweetie to! Designer Leslie Ashe really put our Accent It All to good use...no great use! This incredible diecut frame we know will have you racing to buy your Accent it All!!

Spring Flower Vase
Designer: Jenny Chesnick

Supplies:

Accent it All in White
U-Cut Foam
Clear Vase
Paper by Crate Paper
Punches by Ek Success & Stampin UP!
Beautiful Flowers

1. Thoroughly clean your vase to rid it of finger prints and any miscellaneous residue.
2. Using your punches simply punch out a good amount of lovely butterflies. I used the large punch as well as the smaller butterfly punch. Accent it All will run through your punches like butter as well as your die-cutting machine.

3. Apply your butterflies in a pleasing pattern to your vase. Using Accent it All makes it easy to remove and shift your pieces. They peel off and on with ease.
4. Once you have your Accent it All butterflies applied using your punches again punch out a few large butterflies from paper. Then apply U-Cut foam to the back to give them some dimension. Then apply them over a few of your other pieces. Since Accent it All is removable you can easily remove your paper pieces to wash your vase then re-apply them when you are done.
5. Lastly bribe your husband to bring you home some flowers to display your lovely vase.

Picture Keeper is the simplest automatic picture backup device. Simply plug in and save! No software to install and no password to remember.  With a PK-4, it's a snap to save up to 4,000* pictures! And because there's no software to  tht much easier.

Just insert the Picture Keeper drive into any USB port on your PC, click "Start Backup" and Picture Keeper automatically finds and saves all your pictures. That’s it! They all fit right there on the Picture Keeper drive. What's more, subsequent backups are fast because Picture Keeper will only copy the newest images when you use it again to save your recently added or changed pictures.

And because Picture Keeper’s software runs right from the USB drive, you'll be able to easily save pictures on multiple PCs (WIndows AND Mac OS) up to the drive’s capacity).

Users can also choose the more "advanced" options which allow you to select additional types of files or directories you want saved.

Picture Keeper is giving away a PK4 (retail value $29.99). And we're adding in a sheet of each color of our Accent It All Vinyl and a roll of our Extreme Adhesive Squares. To enter today we first ask that you visit Picture Keeper's Facebook page and click to be their friend, post on their wall and let them know Glue Arts sent you, then come back here...post a comment letting us know you've friended them and posted a hello. If you leave two comments letting us know you've said Hello to Picture Keeper and then a praise comment...we'll you'll have two entries to win!!

And did you know today is Poem in Your Pocket Day? The idea is to select a poem you love, then carry it with you today to share with loved ones, a friend or just to make someone's day a bit brighter! We'd like to invite you to share some poetry with us. Now we know you're thinking Glue -- poetry?? Why not is our thought! We'd like to ask our GlueArts fans to show us their poetic prose. A Sock Is a Pocket for Your Toes (excerpt)
by Elizabeth Garton Scanlon

A sock is a pocket for your toes,

a vase is a pocket
for a rose.

A pocket for a chicken
is a coop,

and a bowl is a pocket full of soup--
uh-oh!

A bowl is a pocket spilling soup.

And what will we offer to you for your eloquent prose? We'll pick a winner who will enjoy a Glue Glider Pro, refill of their choice, our Ribbon Adhesive and our Extreme Adhesive Squares....now that should incite many a poem! Please email your poem to us at Gluegirl@gluearts.com by Friday, April 29th. Please put POEM in the subject line!

We'll see you tomorrow for more Accent It All and ways to win!

  44. Hello all,

Select flowers from your garden that have open or partially open buds, especially if they have more than one bud per stem. If your flowers bloom on individual stems, don't cut them until they are in full bloom. Always select flowers that are healthy and disease free for indoor bouquets. Arrange your freshly cut flowers in the vase so they have great eye appeal. Thanks a lot!
