Shabby Chic Crafts offers printable Valentine cards, assorted tags, frames, embellishments and more! They have just the item you need to fit your crafting, cardmaking and scrapbooking needs.
Today we're wrapping up our week with some sweet card ideas from Designers Leslie Ashe and Michelle Lanning. And a quick kids crafts from Glue Girl Julia Sandvoss!
Supplies:Glue Arts Glue Glider Pro with Perma Tac cartridge
Glue Arts 3D UCut It Foam
Shabby Chic Love Tags
other supplies:
cardstock: American Crafts, patterned paper: American Crafts (love line), Ribbon: American Crafts, Twine: The Twinery, Pen: Zig RollerBall, button: American Crafts (love line), border punch: EK Success large scallop border punch
Directions:
-trim cardstock to 6x11 inches. Use border punch on edge (this will make your cardstock 6x10 inches) fold and score.
-trim patterned paper 4.5x5 inches. place in center of folded card
-add a 1 inch strip of red cardstock to bottom, just above the scallops. trim edges to fit card.
-add ribbon just above red cardstock strip. trim edges to fit card.
-spray paint (Shimmerz Coloringz) on scallop chipboard pieces, set aside to dry (or use your heat gun to dry faster)
-cover the other chipboard pieces (triangle banner) with the patterned paper, sand edges for a white border
-using the 3D UCut it Foam - place banner with patterned paper on top of painted banner.
-start with one banner flag on left (slightly off card), leave a SLIGHT space (this will be filled with a tag)
-place the next banner flag next to it, then the last one, going up off the edge of the card.
-tie floss on left scallop banner flag and again on right scallop banner flag. leave string length
-place letters "L", "V", and "E" on each flag.
-place the round tag "you and me" as your letter "O" next to the "L" banner flag.
-write "I love us!" on coversation bubble and using 3D UCut It Foam, place slightly above round heart tag.
-tie ribbon in a bow and adhere to border at bottom right.
-put floss in the button and tie a bow, then place on top of ribbon border.

For this card I used a standard A2 size. I used 4 Shabby Chic tags. I cut the sweet title out from one of the tags and used my u-cut 3-D tape to make it pop.
For this card I wanted to get a lollipop look with the tags. I layered them of course with my favorite you cut it 3D adhesive. A pipe cleaner was added as the "stick".

*Great craft for kids! Sweet, simple and cute!
1) Cut a piece of felt to cover the top of a jar. Use Extreme Adhesive Squares to adhere felt to jar lid. Tie ribbon around jar after you fill it with some yummy candies!
2) Adhere the diecuts to the mailbox. Save the postcard one to write a special message on for your sweetie!
3) Set the mailbox on top of the jar and leave for someone special!!
