Here are some sweet ways to use the twine on your cards!
You Brighten My Day Card
Designer: Lindsay Wahl
Adhesives: GlueArts Glue Glider Pro Perma Tac, Perma Squares cartridges, GlueArts Ribbon Adhesive, GlueArts 3-d Combo Pac
Twine: The Twinery Caribbean, Lemondrop, Lilac, Mandarin, Maraschino, Peapod
Card, Cardstock: DCWV
Die Cut machine: Sizzix
Embossing folder: Provo Craft
Ink: Stampin’ Up, Tsukineko
Marker: Copic
Punches: EK Success
Stamp: Hero Arts
Instructions:
1. Trim white cardstock to 5”x 4”; use punches to create border.
2. Place Ribbon Adhesive in the middle of the cardstock. Adhere directly to the cardstock, trim and peel away the liner. Place twine onto adhesive. 2-3 pieces will fit on one line of ribbon adhesive. Leave a small amount of fringe at either end of the rainbow. Continue until you have created the entire rainbow. I used 3 strands per color. I started with the middle colors and worked my way out in either direction.
3. After you’ve created the rainbow, turn the cardstock over. Add a line of Perma Tac adhesive to the back of the cardstock. Wrap the bottom fringe around to the back side of the cardstock. Repeat with the top fringe.
4. Emboss the cardstock with your die cut machine. Ink the image as desired. I covered the rainbow with a scrap of paper while I inked the raised image. Adhere the completed cardstock to the card using Perma Tac and Glue Glider Pro.
5. Create small clouds from scraps of white cardstock. Ink the edges of all of these items with black marker. Use Raise’n’s and UcutIt foam to vary the dimension on each of the clouds. I stacked two Raise’n’s on top of each other to make the middle cloud stand out.
6. Stamp card sentiment and cut with oval punch. Ink the edges with black marker.
7. Create small bow with Lemondrop twine. Using the manual advance feature on the Pro (that little green wheel on the back), apply a Perma Square to the bow. Adhere the bow to the oval.
8. Trim a piece of UcutIt foam to desired size and adhere to oval. Adhere oval to card.

2. Emboss white cardstock with desired folder, then adhere to card base with High Tac cartridge.
3. Make flowers by punching white cardstock circle, adhere mini adhesive square to center of punch, then loop twine 5 times, bringing each loop back to center and securing with adhesive square. Punch second white circle, adhere directly over other punch making a sandwich with loop ends. Push twine through glitter button holes, then tie knot and trim off ends. Adhere button to white cardstock with mini adhesive square.
4. Adhere flowers to cards like shown, add additional twine around card, tying into bow to secure onto card.
5. Finish card with flower stems or sticker letters.
Designer tip- you can make your own glitter buttons by using liquid glue to adhere colored glitter to clear buttons.
