And what a sweet note we're finishing on!!

This week has been filled with beautiful ways to use Crate Paper's Restoration line and our tried and true Glue Arts Adhesive to bring it all together to one beautiful project!

Today is our week long finale and what a beautiful way we're winding things up! Designer Kristen Swain has made some of the prettiest cards that truthfully...are worthy of being framed. And speaking of frames...Designer Carole Janson has made a dimensional foldable family frame. And last but not least...Designer Lindsay Wahl wraps up our week with a sweet paper Topiary!!

Step 2.
Trim 1 off 6.5 x 6 inches of Restoration Heirloom (Reverse Side) cut in half and stick to the middle of the two chipboard pieces (you need to cut in half to make it easy to bend frame) with Glue Arts Perma Tac. Then cut 2 pieces of Restoration Refinish and stick to each side of the square with Glue Arts Permac Tac as shown in the below photo.

Step 3.
Add Crate Paper Designers and Border stickers to the top and bottom of the pattern papers, layer as many different borders as you like.
Step 4.
Trim 1 off 4 x 4 inches of Restoration Heirloom cut in half and stick to the center square with Glue Arts Perma Tac, add 4 pieces off Restoration Chipboard Pieces and stick to each side of the square, as shown in bottom photo.

Step 5.
Create a mini Frame to the left hand side of the Frame and add a family photo, add 3 Dimensional Flowers and embellishments to the mini Frame, as shown in the bottom photo.

Step 6.
Add a second mini Frame to the righthand side of the Frame add another 3 dimensional flower and embellishments as shown in the below photo.

Using the 3D combo pack to layer the Restoration Chipboard pieces.
Step 7.
Finish off the project with a little more embellishing.

Crate Paper Topiary
Designer: Lindsay Wahl

Supplies:
Adhesive: GlueArts Glue Glider Pro Perma Tac, Glue Gun, Extreme Squares
Patterned paper, chipboard, borders & stickers: Crate Paper
Buttons: Bo Bunny
Die Cut: Sizzix
Punch: Marvy
Topiary kit: Oriental Trading (you can also use a 4” Styrofoam ball, 12” wooden dowel and 3 ½” diameter flower pot to create your own kit)
Twine: The Twinery

Instructions:
1. Wrap twine around wooden dowel. Use glue gun to add small amount of hot glue to the dowel, and then wrap the twine around the glue. Repeat until you have covered the entire dowel. This will secure the twine. Once the adhesive has set, insert the dowel into the top part of the topiary.
2. Die cut 10 scalloped circles from 3 different patterned papers. Use extreme squares to adhere the scalloped circles to the foam ball. Use extreme squares to adhere the buttons to the scalloped circles.
3. For the flower pot, you will need to cut a piece of patterned paper into 10 strips that measure 1”x 2.” You will also need to cut a 3 ½” circle from the same patterned paper. Punch a 3” scalloped circle from another sheet of patterned paper.
4. Begin by adhering the strips, using the Pro, around the bottom of the pot. Overlap them slightly. You will have to soften the paper slightly by rubbing it with your fingertips. This allows it to wrap around the pot.
5. Use the Pro to adhere the two large circles onto the top of the flower pot. Add a border sticker around the top border of the pot.
6. Insert the dowel into the flower pot to complete the topiary. Enjoy!
