Gift Sets and Lovely Layouts

...are on today's agenda!

Today on the Glue Arts blog we are sharing more beautiful ways to use the Hero Arts stamps for card making and layouts along with gift sets!

Gift items are often purchased for a special friend and they lack a consistent look and theme. Designer Cheri Wenger shows how you can put together a gift set that is perfect for gift giving. Designer Jessica Barnett has a layout that is just well...lovely!! We think you'll agree!

Everything Floral Gift Set
Designer: Cheri Wenger

Glue Glider™ Pro with High tac adhesive & Ribbon Adhesive (Glue Arts)
8 x 10.5" gift bag (recycled from jewelry store)
Whisper White & Certainly Celery Cardstock(CS) (Stampin’ Up!®)
12 x 12" Green Brocade CS (The Girls’ Paperie)
Pink Grosgrain Ribbon with Green stitching (Dots Dashes & Checks Ribbon from Michaels Craft Store)
Certainly Celery and Melon Mango Classic Ink (Stampin’ Up!®)
Cutting Knife (Xacto) and cutting mat
Adhesive Pearl (Recollections™ from Michaels Craft Store)
Bold Blossoms Clear Stamps (Hero Arts)

Instructions:
1. Cut Green Brocade CS to measure the width of your bag (8") x 3-1/4". Attach over top of store imprinted logo area using your Glue Glider™ Pro (Pro).
2. Cut 2 pieces of ribbon about 1" longer on each side than the width of the bag. This will give you an area to grip when applying. Apply strips of ribbon adhesive to back side of strips leaving area free on ends to grab with fingers. Rub clear carrier to transfer adhesive to ribbon, then apply to top and bottom of CS. Trim ends.
3. Stamp leaves and center flower in celery ink onto Celery CS. Cut around edges of stamping with a knife.
4. Stamp flower onto white CS in melon mambo ink. Cut around the contour with knife and attach flower to patterned CS using Pro. Don’t push down too firmly so you can tuck leaves underneath. Add small flower to center and finish with adhesive pearl.

"Apply strips of ribbon adhesive to back side of strips leaving area free on ends to grab with fingers. Rub clear carrier to transfer adhesive to ribbon, then apply to top and bottom of CS. Trim ends." what does this mean??
